Earth Zing is made from quality organic materials including fishmeal, seaweed meal and basalt rock flour which are mixed into plant-based by-products.

This powerful natural product is full of beneficial microorganisms and releases nutrients into your soil to improve plant growth – without nasty chemicals. 

Earth Zing played an instrumental role in Zing Bokashi’s founder Neville Burt’s award as a finalist in the 2003 Ballance Environmental Farm Awards.

How does Earth Zing work?

Research has proven that soil treated with Earth Zing increases fertility by:
  • Increasing the soil organic matter content and available nutrients
  • Providing nutrients and stimulatory compounds to growing plants
  • Improving the soil porosity and permeability
  • Increasing the micro biomass of the soil

*An independent research study at Lincoln University using Earth Zing showed excellent results with treated plants growing larger at a faster rate with improved crop yields and increased photosynthetic capacity.

About Earth Zing

  • A 2.5kg bag will cover an area of up to 60m2.          
  • Apply 2-3 handfuls (100-150gms) of Earth Zing per square metre of bare soil in the spring and again in the autumn and incorporate into the soil.
  • Spread 2-3 handfuls (100-150gms) of Earth Zing per square metre over a green crop or over any crop residues or uncultivated ground then incorporate into the soil.
  • Apply one handful (50gms) of Earth Zing per square metre along rows between and around plants then incorporate into the soil.
  • Spread up to 1kg of Earth Zing around the dripline of shrubs and trees in spring and autumn.

  • Avoid contact with plant material when using. 
  • Do not apply Earth Zing 2 weeks before or after sowing seed or transplanting seedlings.
  • Earth Zing is best used within 2 weeks of opening. 
  • Seal the container tightly between uses and keep the contents dry.

  • Earth Zing should be stored out of direct sunlight in a cool place
  • Avoid opening in an enclosed area
  • Avoid inhalation of the product
  • Always wear gloves and a mask when using the product
